Preparing The Next Generation For Success

Primary School

We offer engaging workshops designed specifically for school presentations, targeting children in years 3 to 6. Our interactive and inclusive approach ensures that every child feels involved and valued, while also gaining valuable insights. Our workshops cover a range of important topics.

In addition to the topics below, we also offer workshops on a wide range of subjects tailored to the specific needs of youth. We understand that each individual is unique, and we strive to provide relevant and impactful content to address various challenges faced by young people today.

These workshops have been specifically designed to work within Western Australia’s school curriculum.

Tailored Workshops

LifeStorm also offers other practical wellbeing workshops for primary schools. For other schools we have written workshops including resilience, bullying, consent and mental health skills. We can also tailor workshops to suit the specific needs of your school community.

High School

High School students already grapple with a multitude of physiological and emotional changes. On top of that, the burden of selecting subjects and charting their life’s course can easily prove overwhelming for some.

To address this struggle, Lifestorm steps in with a helping hand.

Through tailor-made workshops and mental health sessions, Lifestorm is dedicated to aiding this generation with programs that are designed to support identity, resilience, respectful relationships and real-world readiness. The ultimate goal is to bolster these students, positioning them for success as they navigate through life’s critical decisions.

Respect (Recommend Year 9)

This workshop helps students explore identity, respect, belonging, emotional awareness and positive masculinity. It is designed to support students to better understand themselves, recognise the impact of their choices and build healthier ways of relating to others.

Year 10 Pathways
Series

Our Year 10 Pathways Series is a connected three-session program designed to help students better understand themselves, plan ahead and build direction. It supports students as they begin thinking more seriously about subjects, future options, goals and how to respond when challenges arise.

  • Session 1: Map Reference
  • Session 2: Pathways: Setting Your Course
  • Session 3: Hurdles Along the Path

Years 10-11 Senior
Toolkit

This practical session supports students through the demands of senior school, including workload, planning, stress and self-care. It focuses on realistic strategies students can use straight away to manage pressure, stay organised and protect their wellbeing.

Years 10-12 Workplace Toolkit

This workshop helps students prepare for employment and workplace expectations. It covers practical areas such as job applications, interviews, workplace values, communication, reliability and the behaviours that help build trust at work.

Year 12- The Consent Conversation

This workshop is designed to support students as they prepare for Leavers and life beyond school, with a focus on making safe, respectful and informed decisions around consent. It explores sexual, physical and digital boundaries, healthy relationships, and how alcohol and other drugs can affect judgement, communication and the ability to give or receive consent.

Mental Health First Responders

EMPOWERING TEENS TO SUPPORT THEIR PEERS

One of our core missions is to provide the community with tools and knowledge to better understand mental health and the real challenges that come with it.

Teenagers and young adults are a vital part of our society. They face a unique set of challenges: navigating the pressures of exams, planning their futures, dealing with the unrealistic expectations of social media, and managing the physical and emotional changes of adolescence. It’s no surprise that many teens struggle with their mental health and often don’t know where to turn for help.

By introducing mental health concepts and complexities, we aim to empower young people to become not only supportive peers but first responders. With the right knowledge and confidence, teens can recognise early signs of mental health concerns and offer help before these issues grow into larger problems.

Having the courage to ask, “Are you okay?” or encourage someone to seek support isn’t always easy. But these are steps we must normalise as part of building a more understanding and supportive community—starting with our teenagers.

Together, we can equip teens with the skills to make a difference in their peers’ lives and foster a culture of care and understanding.

Topics Covered

  • Mental Health Conditions
  • Substance Use & Addiction
  • Eating Disorders
  • Bullying & Abuse
  • Self Harm
  • Suicidal Thoughts or Behaviours

Years 7 to 9

Expose young teenagers to the reality of the concern and educate on the difference between mental health issues and mental health crises. Equip Students with the knowledge and confidence to implement an evidence based action plan to support their friends.

Years 10 to 12

Before students are exposed to the stress and demands of exams, arm them with the ability to support each other and recognise issues in others as they may arise. Reduce the stigma and increase suicide prevention.
