Mental Health Week

With Mental Health week fast approaching, rather than do the usual check ins, I’m hoping we can start some discussions.

There has been significant progress; selfishly, for my business, the website, the business award. But that’s not really what I mean, I’m talking about Mental Health and the stigma in general. It is less taboo now than it was 20 even 10 years ago. Some work places permit mental health days.

Many businesses offer support, even a certain amount of counselling sessions through chosen providers. There is still so much work to do, but rather than focus on the negatives I want to make this week about positives. Some changes. And how they have affected you personally.

Food for thought, time to let the questions sink in and hopefully you are willing to share next week:
MONDAY – If someone comes to you, do you know what to say/do?
TUESDAY – What does Self Care look like to you?
WEDNESDAY – What does resilience mean to you?
THURSDAY – Can you recognise your own triggers?
FRIDAY – Are you able to ask for help?

Hopefully this will continue to build, not only improve for individuals but also the community as a whole. Join us next week for some discussion on our social media pages.
